Review by hotel critic
The old-world charm of the interior added a unique touch to the overall ambiance. The cleanliness of the rooms and housekeeping services were satisfactory, ensuring a comfortable stay for my family. One of the highlights of the hotel was the inviting terrace that offered a peaceful place to unwind with a cup of coffee, overlooking the beautifully kept garden area. The garden furniture was a nice touch, allowing guests to enjoy the picturesque surroundings. In terms of amenities, the Wi-Fi connectivity was reliable, and the complimentary parking was a practical feature for guests arriving by car. The hotel's policy of no pets and non-smoking rooms ensured a pleasant environment for all visitors. While Waldhaus may not be the epitome of luxury, its great value proposition and warm hospitality make it an excellent choice for families looking for a peaceful retreat in Bavaria. The personal touch from the owners, such as arranging late-night taxi services and offering complimentary beverages, added to the overall positive experience. Considering the balance between cost and quality, Waldhaus offers good value for a memorable stay in the heart of Bavaria.
